Liquid DnB (liquid drum & bass) is a subgenre of drum and bass. We like to refer to it as "drum n bass for grownups, or perhaps the more mature audiences taste. While the genre liquid DnB uses similar basslines and bar layouts to other styles of drum n bass, it contains fewer bar-oriented samples and more instrumental layers (both synthesized and natural), harmonies, melodies and ambiance, producing a sentimental atmosphere. Music genres such as jazz, soul and sometimes blues have a pivotal influence on liquid drum & bass. The genre is characterized by influences from ambient, funk, disco, house, jazz and trance music. Here at Liquid-DnB, we play some of the finest liquid (past and present) mixed to perfection by its in-house mix technicians, namely 'Addictive', 'Arythmatik' & 'H-Prom' in an MC free environment. You will hear non stop MIXES, some very upfront, along with Classic Drum n Bass from the fathers of the genre, some you love and cherish, some you may not have heard for years, and possibly even be introduced to some classics and hidden gems you may have missed over the years.

Arythmatic comes out of Cologne in Germany. Coming from backgrounds of Jazz, Funk & Soul, was drawn to Drum n Bass from the early 90s onwards. He and Addictive have been friends for many years and have played on several stations together. He is dedicated to the intelligent side of Drum n Bass.
